This blog is a project started by Marcos Soriano few months ago about his idea of what could be an Italian cuisine community to promote the feel and essence of authentic Italian cooking, from ingredients to basics, from Brodo “broth” to sauces and the succulent 4 hour braised dishes and most of it in between.
This community wants to give you more than recipes, would like to give you a place where you can find information, weekly articles and history about Italian cooking.
The blog is for everybody to gather and exchange recipes, stories, suggest readings and articles from other sources.
Marcos Soriano, born in Rome, Sardinian mom and Spanish father, made his living as a graphic designer until 2005 when he decided to make a change in his life, being passionate about food and cooking, attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta with honors, to professionally acquire a solid set of skills to become an instructor and promoter of authentic Italian cooking, his true passion.
Mangia Genuino will be a work in progress for sometime, new recipes, new articles, pictures and more, that with its user’s feedback, input, suggestion, criticism and requests, will help build a better gathering place that everybody will feel comfortable visiting and coming back to, in other words, your voice count!
