Cucumber Salad, Insalata di Cetrioli Aromatica

2 cucumbers not too thick
1 large yellow onion
3 cloves
6 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
Chili powder to taste
Salt to taste

Cut cucumber in thin slices and put them in a bowl, sprinkle salt to taste.
Cut onion in half and thin slice it half moon shape, add it to the bowl with the cloves, tossing it to mix and refrigerate for 12 hours or so, six hours will be ok but 12 is preferable, tossing it a little every 2 hours.
After that, drain the water at the bottom of the bowl left by the cucumber and palce back in the bowl, adding the olive oil, rice wine vinegar and chili powder to taste, toss again to evenly dress everything, serve.
